Long time, no hear

Wow, cant believe it has been that long since I posted. I have had alot going on in my life and I know time flies...but geez!!!!! I have alot of things on the go at the moment (too many I think). But I get a tad bored if I stick to the same thing all the time so I have a few quilts on the go plus a wallhanging and tonight I decided to cut out hexagons...what is wrong with me :-) Here are some blocks I have been stitching. Some things French plus the beautiful redwork. I promise to finish something soon..lol

Another retreat item finished off (still a tad more to go...we were spoiled) This one is by Melissa Grant, Ive put mine on a canvas and added a cameo, thought it will make a lovely Mothers Day gift

One Item Completed

This is the lovely bird design we got on the weekend at the retreat from Helen Stubbings. It is attached to a canvas. I love this colourque technique, it looks fantastic

Anzac Day

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old; Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning We will remember them Another moving Anzac Day. A Fantastic Weekend

Just spent a fantastic weekend at Country Hart with Helen Stubbings and Melissa Grant. A big thankyou to Robyn Welsh for hosting another wonderful weekend. We received some beautiful projects to create, did the chicken dance and had a lot of laughs.

Long time since a catch up

April has flown by in a blur. Where is this year going. I have had a busy month. I have just completed Winsome Hearts, a Hugs N Kisses pattern by Helen Stubbings. Here is a photo before the binding and the quilting. Ill post an updated photos soon. I love how it turned out.
