Boy this year is flying by...how many days til Christmas? Not enough. Too cold to sew
It has been way too cold to sit at my machine, so I have been doing alot of knitting, love knitting in winter. But thats not too good when I have alot of things I should be doing, one being a birthday swap. I did finish these dolls last night. I am in love with lace
I am really enjoying messing around with a box of old lace and doilies I have. I originally wanted it for altered art and mixed media work but am now enjoying incoporating it into my sewing. Here is a bag I whipped up on the weekend. Hope everyone had a lovely Mothers Day xx This is what I received from a friend for a mother and baby swap we had in one of our groups. I love her!!

Anzac Day
All spare a moment on the 25th April to remember our fallen, our Defence Members currently serving overseas, and the familes they have left behind. My husband and I both served in the Forces as did our relations, and any proud Australian is moved on this special day.
"They shall not grow old, as those that are left grow old
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We shall remember them"

Some Patterns
I have finally gotten around to finishing off some patterns I started almost 2 years ago. I have actually had some time on my hands. I have listed a free pattern and two for sale. My Goth Girls, do not have to be done as Goths, they could be stained rather than painted in white, and then their clothes made from fabrics of your choice. I designed these two for my daughter and I love how they turned out. Hopefully Ill be able to now devote more time into drafting patterns for my other creations now that I have been motivated...Hope you like them xx
